Robert J. Kheel, President and Treasurer, is
a partner in the Litigation Department of Willkie
Farr & Gallagher LLP. Mr. Kheel specializes in complex
commercial litigation with an emphasis on labor and sports law.
He represents clients on matters including employment discrimination
and raiding cases, NLRB proceedings, arbitration and accountant's
liability litigation, and related transactions and issues. Mr.
Kheel is a member of the New York State, District of Columbia,
and American Bar Associations and the Association of the City
of New York, and a Trustee of Howard and Georgeanna Jones Institute
for Reproductive Medicine. Mr. Kheel has also authored law review
articles, and been a Lecturer at Law at Columbia Law School on
the Law of Sports since 1991. He is a graduate of Cornell University
and University of Michigan Law School.
Jane Stanley, Vice President and Secretary, is an
attorney who, before joining NNF, practiced and wrote primarily
in the area of pension and welfare law. She served for many years as the Editor in Chief and Senior Editor of a treatise on employee benefits law published by the Bureau of National Affairs, for the American Bar Association. Prior to that, she worked for
over a decade for the Solicitor's Office at the United States
Department of Labor, Plan Benefits Security Division, where she
was in charge of complex litigation involving misfeasance by fiduciaries
of ERISA covered pension and welfare plans. She is a Fulbright
Scholar, and an honors graduate of Columbia Law School and Harvard
College.
Edward Peck, Counsel to NNF, is
an attorney of counsel in the tax department of Paul
Hastings who concentrates his practice in estate planning
and Surrogate's Court matters. He is active in estate and tax
planning for high net worth individuals, corporate executives,
the closely-held business owner and artists. His practice also
includes international tax planning for non-U.S. individuals.
With the preparation of complex wills and trusts, Mr. Peck serves
as counsel, executor and/or trustee to effectuate the plan. Another
focus of his practice includes Surrogate's Court litigation involving
will and trust controversies and disputes against descendants'
estates. Mr. Peck is a member of the New York State Bar Association,
Committee on Income Taxation of Trusts and Estates, a graduate
of the Wharton School, and the University of Pennsylvania Law
School.
